Through out my career I have dedicated myself to working with the 2SLGBTQ+ population. I have a master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and a minor in Psychology. Providing therapy for the transgender and non-binary population is my specialty. Additionally I have trained many service providers across Canada on transgender health. I am a client services manager at Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS) for the 2SLGBTQ+ youth program. I provide clinical supervision for our therapists.
I have authored many resources for gender diverse youth and their families. Designing innovative program curriculum for transgender youth is a passion of mine. I use experiential learning and art therapy to create effective interventions. My other specializations are Trauma Based Therapy and Group Therapy.
I am a visual mixed media and textile artist and my love of nature and dogs sustains me. I identify as a non-binary queer person and I use they/them pronouns. I currently live in Toronto, Treaty 13, Dish with One Spoon Territory and I am grateful to be on this land. As a cancer survivor and someone with disabilities, I understand the importance of accessibility.
